Smitty Harris, who brought the tapping code to the POWs which changed the entire program. Smitty He was held as a POW for 8 years Carlyle Smith "Smitty" Harris was in captivity 1965 to 1973 US Airforce. His wife has been by his side all these years.

At our State Council meeting on June 12th, 2022, it was voted and to donate monies to Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center (VWHRC) located in Little River SC, to help the homeless Veterans housing. Presenting the check to Scott Dulebohn, Director Charles Davies 2nd Vice President State Council on June 30th, 2022.

National Vietnam Veterans Day ceremony at the General R. Reed Recreational Center in Market Commons, Myrtle Beach. VVA Chapter 925 Honor Guard proudly posted the colors. The ceremony sponsored by the Vet Center and supported by the city services as a reminder that Service, Honor, Freedom and Hope for peace is still alive in our Democracy!!! God Bless America
Veterans Last Patrol had a program that they signed and mailed 50,000 Christmas Cards to Veterans in Hospice and Nursing homes.
